New Homeowners

Dear Homeowner,

On behalf of the Whitemud Hills Homeowners Association Board of Directors, we welcome you to our community.

The WHHA is a non-profit organization governed by the provisions of the Companies Act of Alberta. All homeowners within specific boundaries of Whitemud Hills are automatic members of the WHHA and pay an annual membership fee each year on January 1st. The current annual fee is $185 plus GST for a total of $194.25 and can be paid via cheque – future online options will become available.

One of the essential functions of our Homeowners Association is to develop and maintain the amenities owned by Whitemud Hills. Annual fees are used to engage landscaping and snow removal contractors to maintain our assets.  Should City owned property require attention, we communicate with our contacts at the City of Edmonton to address problem areas. We work diligently to help complete projects that add value to the neighborhood & often partner with the Whitemud Oaks Community League to ensure that we address the need for desired amenities such as playgrounds, rinks and additional features.

As a new homeowner, you may already have some ideas on how you’d like to improve your property. Please keep in mind, the WHHA has an Architectural Review Committee to observe and uphold the architectural standards within Whitemud Hills – you can find detailed information posted on our website. The Committee evaluates the plans for all exterior repairs and remodeling in order to ensure compliance with all covenants, restrictions and guidelines. Modifications to the exterior of your home and property must be submitted to the Architectural Control Committee for approval before any work commences.  The preservation of the design and style of existing homes in Whitemud Hills is of upmost importance to the WHHA as we are quite fond of our lovely neighborhood and have a profound interest in maintaining our property values.

The WHHA is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who are elected at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in June. As a member of the WHHA, you are eligible to participate in the AGM and run for a position on the Board. Please email This email address is being protected from spambots.
